"Spill" is the first single off our upcoming EP, Perpetual Motion Machine (EP release date August 1st). "Spill" is a very in-your-face blues-rock song about misogyny in the music industry (and beyond). I've had many experiences of being harassed at merch table meet-and-greets or being dismissed by sound engineers at gigs and I put all that fury into this song. I think of this one as my internal monologue being screamed in someone's face. The rest of the EP touches on similar topics, mainly life on the road in its excitement and exhaustion, and different scenes in my touring history where I've experienced sexism and underhanded deals.
